Dataflow Studio license types:

• Named
• Floating
• Trial

Named License

A named license is linked to the user account and can be installed on multiple systems. The “Named” license can be used offline as long as the offline cache has not expired.

 

Note:

An offline license has a built-in expiration date of 2 days. After this time, the software can no longer be used until it has been activated again. When the software is started with an Internet connection, the license is automatically updated and the time period is reset.

 

Floating License

A floating license is not linked to a user account, but to the whole company. A user that signs in to Dataflow Studio will receive a floating license. That license is then blocked for other users until the user signs out or exits the software again. Floating licenses require an Internet connection.

 

Trial License

A trial license can be downloaded from the Dataflow website. The trial license contains all the available functionality modules and features from the Dataflow Studio and Dataflow Simulator Software. The Dataflow Software can be tried out for 30 days, and it requires an Internet connection to sign in to the application.
